Board of Trustees
The business and affairs of the SVRCS shall be governed by the Board of Trustees. The Board Of Trustees is made up of seven trustees as follows:
- Three community Trustees who shall be residents of municipalities located in the 17747 and 17773 zip codes, and shall be elected by residents of municipalities located in the 17747 and 17773 zip codes.
- Two parent Trustees who shall be parents of children currently enrolled in the SVRCS, and shall be elected by parents of students currently enrolled in the SVRCS.
- Two staff Trustees, one of which shall be a teacher, both of whom shall be elected by a majority vote of the staff of the SVRCS.
All trustees serve a 3-year term that starts the first Tuesday of July. Anyone who is at least 18 years-old wishing to be placed on the ballot that meets these qualifications should send a letter of interest to Mary Jude Weaver at mweaver@svrcs.org by May 3. Elections will be held on May 21.
