The Board of Trustees, Administration, Faculty and Staff would like to welcome you to the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School.

SVRCS, the first rural K-12 charter school in the state of PA, offers our students, our families and our community varied educational opportunities of excellence with strong family involvement and lifelong learning that is grounded in the valley's values, cultural history and experiences.

With a current enrollment of 232 students, SVRCS takes great pride in maintaining our commitment to the four pillars of our charter: K-12 Continuum, Personalized Learning, Community Involvement and an Integrated Rural Environment which serves as the stronghold of our school's mission statement.

SVRCS provides students the opportunity to work within small class sizes and when necessary receive extra help or tutoring for their areas of challenge. Students may explore their interest in Music, Art and Athletics as well as participate on the Envirothon Team, Band and Chorus. Class field trips, shared projects, and community service projects are just a few of the excellent chances for students to express their talents and skills.
