All Phase IV students are researching the holidays of December. These include Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanza. They will have the opportunity to present what they have learned to other SVRCS students before winter break.
Phase IV 8th Grade Language Arts
Homework for December, 2008
Students should spend 20 minutes per night reading. At this time we are reading The Cay by Theodore Taylor. They should make sure they have read the assigned pages before they read something else. They will have a short five question reading quiz each class period. But they should read every night. Magazines, newspapers, novels are all appropriate.
Phase IV 7th Grade Language Arts
Homework for December, 2008
Students are reading Sounder. They should be reading the last two chapters and completing the questions for those chapters. They will have a test and a writing assignment on the book on Dec 16th.
