MP - equivalent fractions, fractions of collections, fraction number stories, Unit 8 test
AJ - basic addition/subtraction facts, recognizing and writing teen numbers, counting objects, time to the hour and half hour, patterns
BA - time to nearest 5 minutes, counting coins, polygon review, 3 dimensional shapes review
TW - End of book test, addition, subtraction, multiplication review
JF- spinners and probability, estimation strategies, place value in large numbers
HG&MT- Rules, tables and graphs, converting celcius to fahrenheit, area of circles
Ele-Middle Math
Homework will be sent home on MONDAY (6/6/2011)
AR - magnitude estimates for products, multiplication of decimals, solving number stories
AS - Unit 6 test, end of book test, review of addition and subtraction methods and money
BSt - multi digit multiplication with the lattice method, sharing money, division with remainders
BSi- unit 9 test, use of a transparent mirror, line symmetry, Frieze patterns
CL - End of book 1 test, review of multiplication and division strategies
JS - cube stacking problems, gram and ounce conversions, creating a bar graph
JB - Unit 4 test, review of multiplication strategies and place value with decimals
MJ - Unit 6 test, end of book 1 test, division review
NY - unit pricing, rates, unit 12 test, end of book 2 test
TT - many names for fractions, fractions and decimals, comparing fractions, ordering fractions
AP - measuring perimeter, division practice, multiplication and division number stoires, unit 4 test
